PBC were instructed by Investec Bank Plc to undertake an initial pre-acquisition overview report in connection with the proposed purchase and development of Hill House, Islington, London N19.  This included confirming: satisfaction with HAC and asbestos reports undertaken on behalf of the vendor (1960’s build), structural integrity of the building and load-bearing capacity of foundations and structure to add floors, that the building was suitable for proposed conversion to residential use, and that the proposed construction costs were appropriate.

The Hill House office building has now been purchased by Bode Property from Lazari Investments for a 141-unit residential scheme, which has been approved under permitted development rights for one-bed units and studio flats.
