The Project

Old Jewry, located close to the Bank of England in the City of London, is part of a thriving district of mixed-use commercial office premises, banks and restaurants.

PBC Scope

PBC’s Building Consultancy team was appointed to provide Contract Administration services for reuniting and refurbishing 3,400 sqft. of prime office space on the 2nd floor of 27-32 Old Jewry, which had been sub-divided thirty years prior, to a Cat A + Cat B specification. This work was carried out to cater for the growing demand for ‘plug and play’ office space by prospective tenants, including provision of full power and data installations, break out accommodation and furniture.

The work included the renewal of all services installations, providing new VRF air conditioning, formation of new meeting rooms and offices, a stunning tea point with breakfast bar and white goods, installation of new floor boxes for power and data connections and redecoration in a neutral colour-scheme. PBC designed the new layout, competitively tendered the project and administered the contract to completion.  Following close liaison with the marketing agents when preparing the specification and designs, we are sure the light and now well-appointed office accommodation will appeal to all prospective tenants.
