PART-TIME SECRETARIAL SUPPORT ROLE
PBC’s Building Surveying Team is looking for a bright, confident individual to fill a new part-time secretarial support role. The candidate must have good interpersonal skills and be able to deal with clients at all levels.

Secretarial services will include assisting with typing reports, letters, emails, minutes etc. (mainly audio typing), filing and file management, occasional diary management on MS Outlook, telephone answering and meeting and greeting clients.

Candidates must have fast and accurate audio typing of not less than 70 wpm (proof of test will be required) and be fully competent in the use of MS Office 365, including advanced levels of Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent organisational skills, appreciation of the importance of presentation, spelling and grammar and a ‘can do’ attitude is essential.  The candidate must also be reliable, trustworthy and able to deal with confidential business documents with the utmost discretion.

The role requires 20 hours per week during the hours of 09.30am-5.30pm across 4-5 days, but must include Fridays. Working hours can be negotiated and agreed but a flexible approach is required, where necessary.   The salary (to be advised separately) will be per annum and pro rata.

Previous experience working for Building Surveyors and/or Project Managers would be an advantage and a non-smoker is preferable.
