All reinstatement was upon a ‘like-for-like replacements’ which given the apartment was built in 2004 meant that in several new products had to be sourced.
PBC also had to arrange for installation of a new glazing unit that had been delayed by the manufacturing process. Working with the site team and principal designer, to ensure that a safe lifting method was in place prior to the arrival of the glazing unit, the unit was brought up 6 floors from the outside of the building the balcony with a pully system.
Final snagging upon completion had to be carried out with the tenant having moved in, due to strict time constraints, but the apartment is now fully refurbished and occupied.
