PBC were appointed as Landlord Surveyors to provide independent professional advice, consultancy services, oversee and manage Bright Start Nursery’s License for Alterations application through to completion of the fit-out at Royal Wharf.

Bright Start Nursery is a modern early years childcare setting located within the Royal Wharf riverside development in East London.

Designed to provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment, the nursery caters for children aged 6 months to 5 years, with dedicated spaces for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. The setting features bright, contemporary interiors that support learning through play, alongside purpose-designed facilities that encourage children’s development and wellbeing.

Our role:

• Review and approve the tenants’ proposals for the unit, taking this from base-build shell and core to a fully fitted-out nursery with contemporary finishes throughout
• Continued liaison with the tenants throughout their design development and review of their proposals to ensure compliance with all relevant standards
• Issuing a recommendation to the landlord to proceed with License to Alter, including advising on conditions to be included and approving documents to be appended to the license
• Monitoring of the works during tenant fit-out guide to ensure compliance with the approved documentation
