PBC were instructed to provide professional advice on party wall matters arising under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.

The project involved the comprehensive internal refurbishment of a single terraced dwelling, including the construction of a new fourth‑floor mansard roof extension and a sub‑basement level. Party Wall Awards were successfully negotiated and agreed with all affected adjoining owners, enabling the proposed works to proceed in accordance with the programme.

The affected adjoining owners were identified at an early stage, and initial consultation was undertaken promptly within the project programme to ensure that, once the design had reached an appropriate level of development, the requisite notices could be served without immediately.
