The Project
The Falcon Centre is a 50,000 sq.ft. industrial and office space located just 5 minutes from the M1 near Milton Keynes, and 7 minutes from the A5.
PBC Scope
PBC was appointed to provide Project Management, Employer’s Agent and Cost Consultancy for the fast-track fit out and refurbishment of the unit, plus updating of its office space to CAT A standard following vacation of the space by its previous tenant.
The works included a full strip down and high-end cosmetic refurbishment of the unit to allow the space to be remarketed to a premium client. Improving the ESG of the building was a key requirement of the project, so new windows were installed, the gas boiler was replaced, LED lighting was added in the warehouse and 5 electric vehicle charging points were fitted. Solar panels were also installed on the roof with an estimated annual generation of 25,660 kWh.
Within the office space a new ceiling and WCs were installed, carpets were replaced, new balustrading to internal staircase was added and the roller shutters and steelwork were sprayed anthracite grey to create a stylish and contemporary space for a new tenant.
