The Project

Kent House is an iconic Art Deco building in Fitzrovia that required a high-specification upgrade and the repurposing of original features to deliver a best-in-class Flex workspace.

PBC was appointed to provide Project Management and Contract Administration services for the 12-week Flex fit-out of the first floor.

PBC Scope

PBC managed the programme of works to achieve high quality standards on behalf of GPE, working closely with Morgan Lovell under a Design and Build contract.

Works included a complete strip-out of the floor, the installation of a new mechanical system and a complete refurbishment of the space in keeping with its contemporary design.

New meeting rooms and break-out spaces were created with new surface finishes throughout.

The refurbishment was delivered while the building was occupied, on programme and ready for the new tenant.

The building also achieved SKA Gold accreditation at completion.

PBC Head of Flex Delivery, Jack Dison said: “The team delivered a tight programme in an occupied building and the complexities this posed makes Kent House one of my favourite projects. Not only did we deliver on programme, we also supported a fit-out that really complements the style of this stunning building.”
