The Project

 

Refurbishment of existing Grade II listed building which was procured in a split phased approach, phase 1 being the removal and replacement of the roof and phase 2 the internal refurbishment with external extension and courtyard works.

Internally the specification included a very high quality level of finishes with new heating and cooling installations, AV and structural works to provide a new open plan space in the lower ground floor linked to a new structural glazed extension at the rear.

PBC Scope

PBC were appointed as cost managers for the comprehensive and highly bespoke refurbishment of 9 Holland Street. The project posed unique challenges due to the listed status, requiring careful consideration of works needed to be sensitive to the planning and heritage requirements.
