According to the survey, there is a 14% drop of positivity about the general economic outlook and only 12% of consultants believe the current Labour government is doing a “good” job for the built environment, with 61% remaining neutral, and no consultants reported excellent.

Despite these conditions, the latest survey indicates that 84% of firms intend to increase investment in digital technology and AI, an increase from 78% in the previous year. This reflects the growing recognition of digital innovation as a critical factor of business transformation.
