The Project
PBC were appointed by Teach First to provide Project & Cost Management services on a c10,000 sqft CAT B refurbishment project in Greenwich.
The aim was to consolidate their business operations from two floors to one single floorplate all whilst maintaining their development centre facilities, a large event space and an inspiring yet functional workspace for their employees.
As Teach First are a charity, managing the budget was a key priority and multiple rounds of value engineering were carried out throughout the different stages of the project lifecycle. The project was initially designed up to RIBA stage 2 by the client design team and this was thereafter progressed by a design & build contractor from RIBA stage 3 onwards.
